Slinky transforms a coil of razor wire into the form of the familiar spring toy from which it takes its title. Accompanied by a graphic work based on a 1946 advertisement, the installation juxtaposes post-war consumer culture with contemporary border infrastructures, drawing attention to the shifting uses and meanings of industrial steel.
