Produced following an artistic research residency in Dhaka, Bangladesh, Karail combines two-channel video with an installation constructed from corrugated iron and wood. Filmed within Karail Basti, the work juxtaposes architectural movement through the settlement with close observations of its material surfaces, drawing attention to everyday forms of construction, maintenance and inhabitation.
