Scanning the Horizon: An Immersive Archive is an interactive virtual reality installation bringing together LiDAR scans, field recordings and interviews from queer spaces across Berlin. Produced between 2022 and 2024, the project comprises seven locations presented as navigable point-cloud environments accompanied by conversations with the people who sustain them. Developed from the online archive Scanning the Horizon: Queer Spaces Berlin, the installation forms part of an artistic research project on queer urban history.
