Work, housing and knowledge in self-organized settlements
2016 – 2021

This research examines self-organized settlements as places where housing, labor and knowledge production are deeply interconnected. Drawing on long-term fieldwork in Bangladesh together with architectural observation and collaborative research, it focuses on everyday practices of construction, education and community organization. The research informed a series of installations, videos and publications addressing so-called informal urbanism from the perspective of its residents.
