Urban transformations in post-Wende Berlin
2023 – Present
This ongoing research explores the transformation of Berlin’s urban fabric following German reunification, with particular attention to sites shaped by abandonment, redevelopment and contested memory. Through field research, photography and historical documentation, it examines how changing political and economic conditions continue to reshape the city. The research informs both artistic works and publications centered on Berlin’s recent urban history.
