The Institute for Sexual Science (1919–1933)
2022 – Present

This ongoing research follows the spatial and archival traces of the Institute for Sexual Science (1919–1933) in Berlin, examining how histories of queer knowledge, embodiment, and institutional life persist after the destruction of the original site. Combining archival research, historical mapping and artistic inquiry, the project traces the Institute’s intellectual, spatial and political legacy within the city. It has so far resulted in lectures and publications exploring queer memory, urban transformation and the material remains of queer history.
